Sorry for not emailing for the past few weeks!
So far in Qianzhen, we've been finding people to teach. And it has been so hard because Taiwan has Buddhism and Taoism. Maybe also because it's a part of their family culture.
But honestly, it has helped me learn a lot. It has helped me see that The Book of Mormon does reveal simple truths.
They are "kept from the truth because they know not where to find it" (Doctrine and Covenants 123:12)
I haven't used The Book of Mormon in contacts super often. But last week I tried to use it in every contact we had. I have the Book of Mormon on my left handle. (I know, it's super dangerous. Probably will upgrade my bike with a book of Mormon holder haha) and it does open good opportunities to talk about the restoration and our purpose on earth.
The Book of Mormon is true! It does answer the question of the soul.
Through prayer and humility, you will find answers to your question.
The best truth I see in The Book of Mormon is being able to come back to the presence of God.
And literally only through the Atonement of Christ, Repentance and obeying the commandments, we all can come back to our Father in Heaven.
I am super grateful for the Atonement of Christ and Repentance.
Words cant express my feelings about the Atonement of Christ and Repentance but I hope this verse can get you to feel the way I feel about the Atonement of Christ and Repentance.
It's at Alma 5:14-62. I love this chapter in the Book of Mormon.
The Book of Mormon is for our salvation!
