TZ 78 The Country-side

Good day!

清水 is a blast! It's countryside. Not very many people and it's quite a change. The people here way different than those living in the city. It seems that there are more people here willing to talk to us for awhile. 

The companionship is pretty fun. Three of us are old missionaries and we are having a lot of fun. 

The ward is also pretty sick. When we got to the chapel everyone greeted us. There were a lot of them that spoke English as well. 

Our area is pretty big and so we use a lot of bus and trains. We get to sit beside strangers and talk to them and share what we have. Very different way of what I did in the city. Cool change. 

 

This area is lit. Also the companionship haha! Hope you all have a wonderful week! Congrats to Jayzon as well!

TZ 77 清水區 !

Hello everybody!

Apparently I got transfered. I'm now serving my transfer in 清水區. It's a very cold and windy area.

My new companion is Elder Tauvao and Elder Bertha. 

Elder Tauvao is one transfer below me. We met at the mtc. And Elder Bertha and I are in the same generation. We came to Taiwan together but he's leaving after two weeks because he has to catch school. 

I'll miss 北區. It was a great ward. Lots of wonderful people.

This is it. Last 6 weeks of my mission. It's been a crazy journey. I'm excited to see what Heavenly Father has in store for us here in 清水

TZ 76 The Thing That I Liked Most !

Hello everyone! 

Last week went by fast. 

The thing that I liked the most was working with the members. 

So we have a new called ward mission leader and he just barely turned 18. He's super pumped about the work. We also asked if he could help our Chinese. We taught him the restoration and it turned out very well because we actually had quite a few questions about it. 

One of the people were teaching is also having a hard time to progress. And so we called members who helped us teach her and asked what their suggestions were to help her. One member suggested that someone needed to go hangout with her. We think that that was really a great idea because she mentioned in the lesson that she does not really have anyone to talk to. We're pumped to plan the process and help her!

The mission is the best! We get the opportunity to serve others and also an opportunity to grow spiritually. Hope you have a great week!

TZ 74 Good Day Everyone !

Good day everyone!

We were able to teach our recent convert the plan of Salvation and after the lesson he was able to help us teach someone else. It was very cool to see him bare his simple testimony.

And then we also had the opportunity to give one of the people were teaching a blessing. When I was talking about how it works, I just felt that we really do have the priesthood he on earth and that it is true.  And also being worthy of it is a must. 

That's about our week! The stake is having a big activity this week and hopefully some of the people were teaching can come
